About Reneé Phoenix Van Wyk — Wellbeing Coach & NBI Practitioner, Strand

Innermost Wellbeing started in a double garage with seven rebounders, a few brave women, and a shared desire to reclaim our lives.

What began as a simple 12-week movement challenge soon became something much deeper.

We realised we were not only dealing with weight, fitness, or low energy. We were dealing with confidence, bladder weakness, lymph flow, circulation, inflammation, stress, habits, self-worth, and the need to feel like ourselves again.

Today, Innermost Wellbeing brings together coaching, body-based wellness technology, movement, accountability, and lifestyle support to help women reconnect with their bodies, their energy, and their sense of self.

A Person-Centred Approach to Wellbeing Coaching

I have a deep respect for people.
I believe people are allowed to think, feel, believe, and process life in their own way.

My role is not to force them into a rigid system, shame them, or tell them they have failed.

My role is to gently challenge, support, educate, and facilitate change one achievable step at a time.

I do not believe it is ever too late. You are never too young or too old to start taking responsibility for your wellbeing. But I also do not believe in blaming the person who is already struggling.

There is a difference between accountability and shame.
I believe in process.
I believe in integration.
I believe in systems.
I believe that no person is isolated.

Your body, your emotions, your relationships, your work, your habits, your stress, your beliefs, and your environment are all connected.

When you begin to take care of one part of your life, it often spills over into the rest.
When a person starts taking responsibility for their body and health, they often become more present in their relationships, more confident in their work, and more engaged in their community.
That is why Innermost Wellbeing is person-centred. We do not treat people like projects. We support them as whole human beings.

Experience Across Individuals, Corporates & Women in Transition

I have worked with people, behaviour, emotional wellbeing, mindset, personal development, and transformation for many years through my background as an Industrial Social Worker, Master Coach, facilitator, speaker, workshop presenter, and business owner.

My work has included individuals, groups, professionals, entrepreneurs, corporate teams, women in transition, people struggling with confidence, self-worth, stress, burnout, emotional eating, lack of direction, relationship challenges, and those who feel disconnected from their bodies, goals, and sense of meaning.

Over the years I have continued to invest in my own development through professional training, short courses, coaching methodologies, facilitation, public speaking, Toastmasters, vision board work, NLP-based tools, neuroscience-informed coaching, emotional responsibility frameworks, and personal transformation processes.

Through Innermost Consultancy and now Innermost Wellbeing, my focus has grown into an integrated approach: helping people reconnect with themselves mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually — not by treating symptoms in isolation, but by helping them understand the person behind the struggle.

I understand people — not just problems.
